At its core, this role is about connecting people, aligning interests, and negotiating terms. You'll build and lead the BD team, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic partnerships with communities, advisors, investors, conferences, and podcasts. You'll negotiate partnership terms and advisor agreements, and develop a BD strategy with measurable targets, such as the number of new partnerships per quarter. Beyond that, you'll maintain and grow the network forming around Society Protocol, staying in regular contact with key stakeholders. You'll represent Society Protocol at events and in conversations with external stakeholders, and report to the Founder/Board on pipeline, progress, and relationship status. Requirements You bring a demonstrable, active network in the Web3 and/or Network States space, verifiable with examples or references. You have at least 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a comparable role, ideally with a track record of closed deals and partnerships. You have proven leadership experience, in terms of both team size and scope of responsibility, along with strong negotiation acumen. A solid understanding of social graphs, network effects, and the dynamics of decentralized communities is a plus. | Full Time – Permanent Role | | **Co-Founder – Executive (CEO)** 👑 | Responsibilities So you want to be the king? **You're in luck!** We are seeking an executive to steer the ship to the new world. The CEO is responsible for leading the Society Protocol organization. They are the captain of the organization, leading a distributed international movement through a high-stakes, high-pressure transition into the _Age of Synchronicity_, which is expected to take 50-75 years. The responsibilities of the CEO include: strategic decision-making, inspiring the world with our vision, ingesting an abundance of information, navigating the political landscape, high-level internal management, and protecting the rightful image of our organization. **This isn't for everybody.** This is for one special person, who wants their name to echo throughout history. And is ready to put in the work required, over a long period of time. And has the personality, skills, and experience to achieve success. And is ready to take the risk and responsibility upon themselves. Requirements The executive we are looking for requires a deep mission-alignment, focus, and sense of purpose. *This isn't a job, it's a journey.* Don't pursue this unless you love it, you won't last. Exceptional quality of inspirational character, strategic or tactical thinking, political savvy, negotiation acumen, management abilities, a deep understanding of technology, the ability to absorb knowledge, protect image and provide stability are essential skills. A strong network of connections is essential. Some previous executive experience, especially in tech, Web3, or Network States is required. | Full Time – Permanent Role | | **Senior Blockchain Engineer** 👨‍🔬 | Responsibilities This role is responsible for helping to architect and then building out a demo of Society Protocol. The demo is intended to be a fully working product of Society Protocol built on Web2 rails (without the cryptography, consensus, or distributed systems) as a server-client architecture. This project involves back-end, front-end, blockchain, and architecture elements. It's challenging and a lot of fun, an opportunity to build out and architect the core of what will become the substrate for all of humanity. This position is intended to become the lead engineer on Society Protocol afterwards. It's only for the ambitious, brilliant engineers who want an engineering challenge. It's for someone who wants to build something impactful at a massive scale, and retain a position at the center of it all for decades. There is no greater engineering challenge, and there is no greater glory. Requirements 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience. Deep understanding of blockchain architectures. Proven experience building with blockchain technologies, (especially Ethereum and the EVM ecosystem) is preferred. Familiarity with game theory and economic principles. You have to be smarter and more capable than the average software engineer. With a brilliant (preferably autistic) mind, and a lifestyle that works for you to sustain this pace for decades. | Full Time – Permanent Role | | | | |
